Beacon+ Marker Mod - Toyota 7443 Conversion

The 7443 Marker Conversion is a kit-based version of a long-standing modification within the Toyota enthusiast community. While the "corner light turn signal mod" has been a DIY staple for years, this product is designed to move away from one-off wiring and mounting workarounds and provide a complete, repeatable solution.

By upgrading the factory single-circuit corner/marker lamp socket to a 7443-style dual-circuit bulb, this conversion adds turn signal functionality to the factory marker location. This eliminates having to add in additional lamps or use floating grounds, while having access to commonly found bulbs.

Kit Contents and Design

The Beacon+ 7443 Conversion is designed for durability and ease of installation, focusing on long-term reliability for daily driven or trail-ready vehicles.

• Purpose-Built Adapters: Custom-fit by application, each kit will come with a set of glue on ABS socket adapters
  
• 7443 Bulb Sockets: Toyota style three wire T20 sockets with pigtails
  
• Expanded Bulb Library: This conversion allows the use of standard 7443 LED, incandescent, or switchback bulbs. LED Bulbs are included with the Kit, you will have the choice of switchback white/amber or amber/amber at checkout.

LED flasher relays will be required, and will be available in the near future.

Pro Tip: Not sure what brand you have? Most manufacturers stamp their name or logo directly onto the plastic lens (usually in a bottom corner) or on the back of the black plastic housing. If it’s blank, it’s likely a generic "Other" brand, please send me a photo of any stampings or part numbers.

Installation and Skill Level
This conversion requires a basic understanding of automotive electrical systems and basic shaping and cutting tools. If you lack the experience or confidence to perform permanent modifications to your vehicle’s wiring or associated components, we strongly recommend seeking professional installation.

Please be aware that this is a permanent modification to your factory light housing. Once the conversion is performed, the vehicle's wiring and light housings are altered from their original factory state. Heat Warning

Risk of heat warping or melting of housing if using incandescent or non supplied LED bulbs, some of these aftermarket bulbs get very hot.

DOT Compliance and Local Regulations
The Beacon+ 7443 Marker Conversion is intended for off-road and show use. Lighting requirements, including the color, placement, and function of turn signals and marker lamps, vary significantly by region. It is the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure their lighting setup complies with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and local traffic laws in their specific jurisdiction.

Warranty and Liability

Improper Installation: Due to the level of user skill and judgement required to complete this mod, we do not cover installation errors, damage to the vehicle's factory wiring harness and physical components, or legal consequences arising from the use of this modification on public roads. We will do our best to support the community and can provide replacements for damaged components at reduced cost.

Components: Aptomo offers a limited 1 year warranty on the Electric components if they were purchased as part of the kit or as an add-on directly from us. If there is a failure within the first 90 days we will exchange for the same or equivalent component. Contact us directly with any concerns or issues.

Heat Damage: We cannot offer a warranty for housings that are melted or warped due to the choice of high-heat incandescent/LED bulbs. The use of high-quality LED bulbs is strongly recommended to prevent thermal damage.
